FAQ

Ordering & Production

How long does production take?

Every piece is made to order. Rugs typically take 4–7 weeks depending on size and design; small marble/onyx décor ships in 9–12 days; large marble pieces (tables, mantels) take longer due to sea freight. Production time is confirmed when you order.

Can I order a custom size or design?

Yes — most of our rugs and marble pieces can be made to custom dimensions. Use our Request a Quote form and tell us what you need.

I entered the wrong shipping address — can I fix it?

Email us at coralweavershd@gmail.com as soon as possible. If production hasn't started, we can correct it — once an order has shipped, we may not be able to change the address.

Can I cancel my order?

Orders can be cancelled free of charge within 24 hours of placing them, before production starts. See our Cancellation Policy.

Shipping & Delivery

How much does shipping cost?

Free shipping on orders over $100 USD. Orders below that have a flat $35 USD shipping charge. This applies worldwide.

How long does shipping take once my order ships?

USA & Canada: 9–12 days. UK, Australia & GCC: 4–5 days. Large marble items over 100kg ship by sea freight with white-glove delivery and take 50–60 days.

How do I track my order?

You'll receive a tracking number by email once your order ships. See our Track Order page for details.

Do I have to pay customs duties?

Orders ship DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). Any import duties or taxes charged by your country are the customer's responsibility, collected on delivery.

My item arrived damaged — what do I do?

Please inspect your order on arrival and report any damage the same day, with photos, to coralweavershd@gmail.com — we'll arrange a replacement or refund. We aren't able to cover damage that happens after delivery, once the item is in use.

Returns & Refunds

Can I return or exchange an item?

Yes — within 14 days of delivery. See our Refund Policy for details.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major debit and credit cards, in USD, GBP, AED, SAR, or CAD, through our secure payment gateway. See Payment Method.

Product Care

Do handmade wool rugs shed?

Some shedding is normal in the first few weeks — it's loose fiber left over from hand-knotting working its way out, and it settles down with regular vacuuming. It isn't a sign of poor quality.

How do I clean my rug?

Vacuum regularly on a low or no-beater setting, rotate the rug occasionally for even wear, and blot spills immediately with a dry cloth rather than rubbing. For deep cleaning, we recommend a professional rug cleaner rather than a washing machine.

Are wool rugs good for high-traffic areas or homes with pets?

Yes — wool is naturally durable and resilient, which makes it a good choice for busy rooms and pet-friendly homes.

Will my new rug soften over time?

Yes — hand-knotted wool rugs often feel a little firmer when new and soften with use and regular vacuuming.

Can marble or onyx stain or scratch?

Marble and onyx are porous natural stone and can stain or etch from acidic spills (wine, citrus, vinegar) if left sitting — wipe spills up promptly.

What shouldn't I use to clean marble/onyx?

Avoid vinegar, bleach, and other acidic or abrasive cleaners. Use a soft cloth with mild soap and water, or a stone-safe cleaner.

Does marble discolor or crack with heat?

Moderate warmth (a candle, a warm mug) is fine, but avoid direct flame or sudden extreme heat.

Do you install marble fireplace mantels?

We ship the piece securely packaged with handling instructions; installation should be done by a local professional, as mantels typically need to be anchored to the wall.
